Welcome To Shepherd Moons
Lori founded Shepherd Moons in 2004.   She is the designer/artisan of the handmade creations you will see on this website.  Each piece of jewelry is original and one~of~a~kind.  The majority of her pieces are made using natural stones, lampwork beads, and Swarovski crystals with sterling silver & Bali silver, unless otherwise noted.  She also favors working with pearls.  Her unique styles can be exotic, simply beautiful, extraordinarily feminine, eclectic or somewhere in between.  Each piece has a photograph and detailed description for your information.   All of Lori's work is made with the finest attention to detail and of course, love.  Wearing a piece of her jewelry will make your spirits soar bringing your inner~self to new heights, allowing you to feel more beautiful than you already are.

About The Name...
There is a very important part that I do not want to leave out; Her name was Shadow De La Luna.  An unforgettable fourteen year old Shepherd who stood beside me during some of the hardest times of my life.  We met in 1990, shortly after my divorce.  When she saw me she ran into my arms.  She wasn't going anywhere except home with me!   She was all black with just a bit of tan on her neck and paws.  Her eyes were strong but soulful and her love for me.....undeniable.   New relationships came and went but Shadow and I remained together.  Having shared a special closeness, losing my Dad in 1999 proved to be a "goodbye" that I so much dreaded.  Shadow was there for me as always.  She proved to me that the love of an animal is unconditional.  She accepted me for what I was, or  wasn't; never distant, always true.  Although she left her earthly existence in September 2004, she will always be "alive" in my heart.  I miss her dearly and cry for her often, however I am happy for one thing; until we meet again, memories last forever!   To you my sweet angel, I dedicate Shepherd Moons.
